How does the IAN.com Affiliate Program Work?
Our Affiliate Program works by paying our Affiliates for consumed travel booked on their respective websites. Your bookings are tracked through links to the booking engine installed on your site.
What are the benefits of the IAN.com Affiliate program?
The IAN.com Affiliate Program offers our partners several benefits. You earn excellent commissions by offering a variety of cutting edge travel products to your customers in addition to our discounted hotel properties we also offer vacation rentals, bed & breakfasts, destination guides, road trips, vacation packing and cruise travel products. We offer cutting edge technology by providing XML Web Services, Internationalization capabilities through multiple languages and currencies and the ability to create Co-Branded or Private Label Websites with deep linking to our product databases. We have a dedicated account management team and on-line access to your Account Statistics.
What does it cost to become an Affiliate?
Nothing! It's absolutely free to join the IAN.com program. There is no application fee and no set up fee. Sign up now!
Can a web site based outside the United States be an IAN.com Affiliate?
Yes. IAN.com welcomes websites from anywhere in the world. All commissions will be paid by check in United States dollars.
Can I operate multiple web sites?
Yes. You can add the IAN.com links to as many sites as you like. We will be able to track the sales from each of your sites through the Account Management feature in the IAN.com Affiliate Center.
How will I monitor my sales?
IAN.com provides a web-based statistics package that tracks all reservations made through your site. Cancellations made through IAN.com will be recorded in your statistics; however, cancellations and "no-shows" directly handled by the supplier will not be reflected. You can access your sales statistics for the current month or for previous months at anytime. (Click here to see an example.)
How do I enroll?
There's a simple enrollment process, just fill out our on-line enrollment form (https://www.ian.com/ian/signup/signup.jsp ) and you are all set. After you have submitted the form, you will receive an email confirmation and then be contacted by a member of the Account Management team who will get you started in getting the links set on your site.

How do I add your booking engines to my site?
Our booking engines are added to your site through the use of links. You can create the links by using our on-line link generator located in the IAN.com Affiliate Center.
Do you offer co-branded or private label sites?
IAN.com uses Client ID numbers to track reservations. When your site is correctly linked to your IAN.com page(s), your Client ID number will be associated with any reservations made from your site visitors.
Do you XML technology?
Yes. In fact, we do offer XML and web services. This encourages a highly customized web site that totally reflects your brand identity. If you are interested in our XML technology, once you sign up you can send an email to the account management team to learn more about our XML product offering.
How does IAN.com track and record reservations?
IAN.com uses Client ID numbers to track reservations. When your site is correctly linked to your IAN.com page(s), your Client ID number will be associated with any reservations made from your site visitors.
How does a reservation turn into commission?
A visitor to your site makes a reservation from your IAN.com booking page(s). The reservation must then actually be completed by the customer, meaning he/she shows up as arranged and does not cancel. Once the reservation has been fulfilled, we must collect the commission from the supplier. After we collect, we pay your commission to you.
How will I be able to verify my reservations or monitor my account?
IAN.com offers all Affiliate Partners with 24 hour access to information about their account(s) on-line in the Account Stats page of our IAN.com Affiliate Center. With just a couple clicks, affiliate partners can find details on their current sales and collections, track confirmed and cancelled reservations and find out the approximate amount of their monthly commission check.

Can you explain the commission structure?
IAN.com pays Affiliates 50% of the commission received for hotel and car services. You will not receive commission on any "no-shows" or cancellations made through IAN.com or directly through the supplier. For additional commission information on other products, please refer to the Licensing and Linking agreement.

How often do I get paid?
You will be paid on the 15th of each month. If your commission for any month is less than $50, the total amount will be carried over to the next month. Once it surpasses $50, a check will be sent to you on the 15th of the month for the complete amount owed to your account.
What is the minimum booking amount needed before I can receive commissions?
To receive a check on the 15th of the month, your account must accumulate $50 or more. If you have accumulated less, the amount will carry over to the next month or until you have accumulated $50 or more.
I operate more than one web site. Can you track them separately, but pay me with one commission check?
Yes. You can sign up each site for a Client ID number. Once that is done, you can set up a Parent ID to track all of your sites together in the stats program. You can view each site individually, but also together. You will receive one commission check for all of your sites.
